Magic Dog is a wish, made upon a star back in 2012. While it had changed names over the years, our friendly space dog Chaska and the dream to become game designers remained the same. We won't say "I can't believe we made it this far!~" because in reality, most of us put our blood, sweat, and countless sleepless nights into our passion projects. We hope to design many more games, from board games to video games (and if it works out, maybe a card game; the universe is the limit).
Helloche! My name is Daleo Eaton and I am the founder and creative lead for Magic Dog Games. I'm standing right next to the birthplace of UNO®,
one of America's treasured card games. When I was growing up, I wanted to be a video game composer. I promised myself I would make a full-scale RPG soundtrack;
and well, that dream honestly hasn't changed. But in the process of achieving my goal, I fell down the rabbit-hole of game design, and learned fairly quickly that I didn't just want to make music for games,
but I wanted everything to do with it.
I made my first app with my brother "Scurvyllama" back in 2015 called Rocket Brigade (You can still play it!), but in the meantime I was working on a side project known as R.O.T.
(Roll Only Two), and over the course of 9 years it finally formed into a written game known as Machina and Magic. It is a complete passion project of mine,
taking the DNA from some of the greatest TTRPGs the world has ever seen and crafting the best tabletop roleplaying experience.
I have a team of excellent friends who help me along the way. Without them, I wouldn't be in the position today. I am extremely grateful that I have such amazing and creative friends. To the right are my very good friends David and Matt, playing Machina and Magic in Matt's world of Serelia.
Look at these great people! Nate (on left), Daleo (in middle), and Branden (on right).
